Vacancy for Lodge Manager Couple

Mbali Mbali Lodges and Camps is seeking an experienced Management Couple for a beautiful luxury camp.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Daily running and operations
  • Organize the logistics and stock management
  • Entertain and brief guests, with focus on exceptional, individual service to clients
  • Complete reports as needed for head office
  • Manage HR issues of camp such as payroll, vacation planning, staff training
  • Supervise housekeeping staff
  • Supervise all food and beverage procedures/systems
  • Relief management at other properties

Skills Required:

  • Must have lodge management experience (5+ years in a managerial position). Proven leadership qualities as well as team players with the ability to interface with a variety of departments and people
  • History of effective cost management skills, including report creation
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in managing and motivating teams, and training staff to deliver upscale customer service
  • Organized, methodical, accurate and analytical with good time management skills, and the ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Mechanical knowledge of cars and generators and good maintenance skills will be an advantage
